The Mainland of China : Review of Anti-dumping Measures against Imports of Polyvinyl Chloride from the United States, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, and the Taiwan Province
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 71/2008 on 28 September 2008, announcing the initiation of review of the anti-dumping measures against imports of polyvinyl chloride from the United States, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, and the Taiwan Province. The relevant tariff code is 3904 1090 (the tariff code in 2002 to 2007 was 3904 1000).

For anti-dumping investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports to participate in the defence of anti-dumping within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 28 September 2008). In the application, interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland and other markets during 1 July 2007 - 30 June 2008. For industry injury investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement. In the application, interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level and details of any expansion plans during 1 January 2003- 30 June 2008.
