The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Adjustment of Tariff Codes for the "Catalogue of Import Commodities with No Duty Exemption for Foreign Invested Projects" and Other Related Catalogues
The General Administration of Customs has recently issued a notice concerning adjustment of tariff codes for the "Catalogue of Import Commodities with No Duty Exemption for Foreign Invested Projects" and other related catalogues, which will take effect on 10 September 2008. For those "Duty Exemption Certificates for Import and Export Goods" issued based on the tariff codes before the current adjustment, they may continue to be used but no extension of validity will be allowed. A copy of the relevant notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
