The Mainland of China : Review of Anti-dumping Measure against Imports of Coated Art Paper from Japan and the Republic of Korea

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 49/2008 on 5 August 2008, announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against imports of coated art paper from Japan and the Republic of Korea. The relevant tariff codes are 4810 1300, 4810 1400 and 4810 1900.

DETAILS

2. For anti-dumping investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports to participate in the defence of anti-dumping within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 5 August 2008). In the application, interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland and other markets during 1 July 2007- 30 June 2008. For industry injury investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement. In the application, interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level and details of any expansion plans.
