The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Adjustment of Export Tax Rebate
Rates for Certain Commodities Including Textiles and Clothing Products
The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation jointly issued a notice on 30 July 2008 concerning the adjustment of export tax rebate rates for certain commodities including textiles and clothing products. The adjustment involves increasing the export tax rebate rate for certain textiles and clothing products from 11% to 13%, increasing the export tax rebate rate for certain bamboo products to 11%, and cancelling the export tax rebate for Korean pine-nuts, certain pesticide products, certain organic arsine products, taxinol and products thereof, rosin, silver, certain zinc, certain paint products, certain battery products and carbon anodes. The adjustment will take effect from 1 August 2008. A copy of the notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
