Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 74/2007
The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against
Imports of Potato Starch from the European Union
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 8/2007 on 5 February 2007, announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against imports of potato starch from the European Union. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 1108 1300.
ANTI-DUMPING MEASURE
- The ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding the investigated products originated in the European Union, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 17% to 35% on imports of potato starch from the above region. The anti?dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 6 February 2007. For details, please make reference to the notice issued by the MOC at: http://www.mofcom.gov.cn/aarticle/b/e/200702/20070204351221.html (Chinese version only).
