Dear Sirs,

Commercial Information Circular No. 379/2007

New Zealand : Final Determination of Anti-Dumping Investigation on Imports of Diaries Originating from, inter alia, the Mainland of China

Commercial Information Circular No. 279/2007 dated 19 July 2007 informed traders of the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against diaries originating from, inter alia, China. New Zealand has now completed the investigation and announced the final decision on 8 October 2007. The Minister of Commerce of New Zealand has determined that diaries originating from the Mainland of China were dumped in the New Zealand market and caused material injury to the New Zealand industry. Anti-dumping duties ranging from 36% to 164% would therefore be imposed on diaries originating from the Mainland of China. The anti-dumping duties shall be payable from 1 February 2008. The relevant gazette notice is attached at the Annex (pdf format) for reference.
