The Mainland of China : Property Law
The Fifth Session of the Tenth National People's Congress passed the "Property Law" on 16 March 2007, which will take effect from 1 October 2007. The Law stipulates that "the property of the state, collectives, individuals and other obligees is protected by law, and no units or individuals can infringe upon it". A copy of the "Property Law" is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
