The Mainland of China : Rules Concerning the Examination of Advertisements
on Pharmaceutical Products
The State Food and Drug Administration and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce jointly promulgated the "Standards on Advertisements of Pharmaceutical Products" and the "Measures on Examination of Advertisements on Pharmaceutical Products", which will take effect from 1 May 2007. The Standards and Measures govern the content of advertisements involving pharmaceutical products and the related procedures of applying for examination and approval. A copy of the Standards and Measures are attached at Annex 1 and Annex 2 (pdf format) for reference.
