The Mainland of China : Mid-term Review of Anti-dumping Measures against Imports
of Monoethanolamine and Diethanolamine from Japan, the United States,
 Iran, Malaysia, the Taiwan Province and Mexico

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 5/2006 on 10 February 2006, announcing the mid-term review of the anti-dumping measures against imports of Monoethanolamine and Diethanolamine from Japan, the United States, Iran, Malaysia, the Taiwan Province and Mexico. The relevant tariff codes of the General Administration of Customs are 2922 1100 and 2922 1200, but monoethanolamine salts and diethanolamine salts under the two codes are not included.

  1. The investigation period of this mid-term review is 1 January 2005 - 31 December 2005, and the scope of investigation is the anti-dumping duty rate applicable to the manufacturers or exporters of monoethanolamine and diethanolamin in Japan, the United States, Iran, Malaysia, the Taiwan Province and Mexico. Interested parties may approach the Ministry of Commerce to participate in the defence of the mid-term review investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 10 February 2006), and submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during the period 1 January 2005 - 31 December 2005. Interested parties may also submit written comments, with relevant evidence, to the Ministry of Commerce within 20 days from the date of the announcement.
