The Mainland of China : Regulations on Administration
of Foreign-invested Banks
The State Council issued Decree No. 478 on 11 November 2006, promulgating the "Regulations on Administration of Foreign-invested Banks", which will take effect from 11 December 2006. The Measures govern the establishment, registration, application and approval, business scope, supervision and administration of foreign-invested banks. A copy of the Regulations is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
