Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 197/2006
The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of o-Dihydroxybenzene (Catechol, Pyrocatechol, C6H6O2) from the United States and Japan
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 32/2006 on 22 May 2006, announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against imports of o-Dihydroxybenzene (Catechol, Pyrocatechol, C6H6O2) from the United States and Japan. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2907 2910.
ANTI-DUMPING MEASURE
- The ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding the investigated products originated in the United States and Japan, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 4% to 46.81% on imports of o-Dihydroxybenzene (Catechol, Pyrocatechol, C6H6O2) from the above regions. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 22 May 2006. For details, please make reference to the notice issued by the MOC at:
