Commercial Information Circular No. 85/2005

The Mainland of China : Measures on the Administration of Pawn Industry

The Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Public Security jointly promulgated the "Measures on the Administration of Pawn Industry" on 9 February 2005, which will take effect from 1 April 2005. The Measures govern the establishment, business scope, business operation, supervision and administration of pawnshops. A copy of the Measures is attached at Annex for reference.
