Commercial Information Circular No. 392/2005

The Mainland of China : Measures on the Administration of Personal Income Tax

The State Administration of Taxation promulgated the "Measures on the Administration of Personal Income Tax" on 6 July 2005, which will take effect from 1 October 2005. The Measures aim at strengthening the administration relating to the collection of personal income tax by means of establishing an administrative filing system for personal income and strengthening the administration on high-income taxpayers, etc. A copy of the Measures is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
