The Mainland of China : Notice on Abolition of Existing Quarantine Provisions
on Exported Wood Packaging Material
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Commerce and the State Forestry Administration jointly promulgated a notice on the abolition of existing quarantine Provisions on exported wood packaging material on 13 January 2005. With effect from 1 March 2005, the quarantine treatment on exported wood packaging material will adopt the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) Number 15 "Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade". The notice is attached at Annex for reference.
