The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Chloroprene Rubber from Japan, the United States and the European Union

The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 23/2005 on 10 May 2005, announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against imports of chloroprene rubber from Japan, the United States and the European Union. The relevant tariff codes of the General Administration of Customs are 4002 4910 and 4002 4990.

ANTI-DUMPING MEASURE

  1. The ruling confirmed that dumping existed regarding the investigated products originated in Japan, the Unites States and the European Union, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties, range from 2% to 151% on imports of chloroprene rubber from the above regions. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 10 May 2005.
