The Mainland of China : Regulations on Payment of Wages in Guangdong Province

The Standing Committee of the 10th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress passed the "Regulations on Payment of Wages in Guangdong Province", which will take effect from 1 May 2005. The Regulations set out the rules governing the payment of wages, as well as the monitoring and inspection system by the labour protection departments in the Guangdong Province. A copy of the Regulations is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
