The Mainland of China :Provisional Rules on the Establishment of Foreign Funded Conference and Exposition Corporation

The Ministry of Commerce has recently promulgated the "Provisional Rules on the Establishment of Foreign Funded Conference and Exposition Corporation". The "Provisional Rules" has come into effect from mid February 2004. According to the "Provisional Rules", foreign investors are allowed to set up foreign funded conference and exposition corporations in wholly owned, equity joint venture or contractual joint venture formats in the Mainland. A copy of the "Provisional Rules" is attached at Annex for reference.
