The Mainland of China : Notice on Implementation of the National 
Standard on Categorization of Retail Industry

The Ministry of Commerce promulgated the "Notice on Implementation of the National Standard on Categorization of Retail Industry", which will come into force on 1 October 2004. The Standard was jointly promulgated by the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the State Administration of Standardisation Commission. A copy of the Notice is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
