Commercial Information Circular No. 64/2003

The Mainland of China : Administrative Rules on Foreign - invested 
Venture Capital Enterprises

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the State Administration of Taxation and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange jointly promulgated the "Administrative Rules on Foreign - invested Venture Capital Enterprises" on 30 January 2003. The Rules, which will come into force on 1 March 2003, set out the requirements, application and approval procedures for setting up venture capital enterprises and venture capital administrative enterprises. A copy of the Rules is attached at Annex (pdf format)for reference.
