The Mainland of China : Interim Provisions Concerning Foreign-invested Cinemas

The State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Culture have jointly announced the "Interim Provisions Concerning Foreign-invested Cinemas", which will take effect from 1 January 2004. A copy of the Interim Provisions is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference. The Interim Provisions include special clauses regarding investment in Mainland cinemas by Hong Kong Services Suppliers under the "Mainland and Hong Kong Close Economic Partnership Arrangement".
