Commercial Information Circular No. 150/2003

The Mainland of China :Lifting of Quarantine Approval on 8 Types of Plant Product Imports

The State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine promulgated Notice No. 43/2003 on 8 May 2003, which decided to lift the quarantine approval on imports of 8 types of plant products from 1 June 2003. Enterprises which import the plant products concerned are no longer required to apply for quarantine inspection permit, but they should still make declaration at the entry ports such that inspection can be conducted by the Quarantine Authority. The list of plant products concerned is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
