The Mainland of China : Interim Procedures on Initiation of
Investigation for Safeguard Measures and Interim Procedures
on Evidence Hearing Session of investigation for Safeguard Investigation

Further to the issuance of the Regulation on Safeguard Measures by the State Council on 26 November 2001 (CIC No. 22/02), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) issued the Interim Procedures on initiation of investigation for safeguard measures and the Interim Procedures on evidence hearing session of investigation for safeguard measures on 10 February 2002. The Interim Procedures have been effective since 13 March 2002. Please refer to Annex 1 (pdf format) and Annex 2 (pdf format) for details.
