The Mainland of China : Shenzhen Complaint Center for Foreign Investment

The Shenzhen Complaint Center for Foreign Investment was established on 28 February 2002. The Centre is designated by the Shenzhen Municipal Government to handle and coordinate all complaints raised by foreign investment enterprises(FIEs) in Shenzhen.

  1. The Centre has three major areas of responsibilities :

  1. to direct, coordinate, inspect and supervise all work concerning complaints raised by FIEs in Shenzhen;

  2. to adopt practices and handling procedures for complaints raised by FIEs; and

  3. to coordinate follow up work on complaints involving more than one region and/or department, and to formulate solutions for representative cases and to make policy suggestions for work improvement.

The Centre will also set up "regional complaint centres" to handle complaints on both administrative and economic disputes in the respective units.
