The Mainland of China :Regulations on Unemployment Insurance
of the Guangdong Province

The Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress of the Guangdong Province announced on 23 August 2002 the Regulations on Unemployment Insurance of the Guangdong Province, which will come into force on 1 October 2002. The Regulations apply to all enterprises or institutional organisations in Guangdong. The Regulations also stipulate the amount of contributions to be paid by the employers and the workers respectively. A copy of the Regulations is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
