The Mainland of China : Administrative Rules for Bonded Zones in
Guangdong Province

The Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress of the Guangdong Province announced on 2 September 2002 the Administrative Rules for Bonded Zones in the Guangdong Province, which will come into force on 1 October 2002. The Administrative Rules appoint a Bonded Zone Management Committee to be responsible for the administrative and economic matters within the zone. The Administrative Rules also ensure investors' property, profit and other legal rights are protected by the government's laws and regulations. A copy of the Administrative Rules is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
