Commercial Information Circular No. 169/02

The Mainland of China: Provisions on Exemption of Import and
Export Commodity Inspection

According to the Law on Import and Export Commodity Inspection and its implementation rules (CIC No. 133/02 dated 18 July 2002), the State General Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection Quarantine (AQSIQ) announced the Provisions on Exemption of Import and Export Commodity Inspection on 24 July 2002. The Provisions set out the application method and the approval procedures for inspection-exemption . The Provisions will come into force on 1 October 2002. It is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
