Commercial Information Circular No. 129/01
The Mainland of China : Issues concerning Foreign
Invested Joint-stock Companies
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation announced a Circular regarding the captioned issues on 17 May 2001, in order to regulate the listing of foreign invested joint-stock companies. The following cases are subject to the regulation of this Circular:

to establish foreign invested joint-stock company or to apply for transferal from existing foreign invested limited company to foreign invested joint-stock company;
-
existing foreign invested joint-stock company applying for listing of share A or B;
-
company, which was sino-foreign equity joint ventures of share B before listed, applying listing of its non-listed foreign invested stocks.
