Commercial Information Circular No. 308/2024

US : Energy Conservation Standards for General Service Lamps

The US Department of Energy (DOE) published in the Federal Register (FR) of 19 April 2024 a final rule to adopt amended energy conservation standards for general service lamps.

2.The DOE has determined that the amended energy conservation standards for the subject products would result in significant conservation of energy and are technologically feasible and economically justified. These standards apply to all subject products manufactured in or imported into the US. The effective date of this rule is 3 July 2024. Compliance with the amended standards is required on and after 25 July 2028.
