Commercial Information Circular No. 109/2024

Brazil : Scope Clarification of Anti-dumping Duty Orders on Certain Tyres Originating in the Mainland of China

The Brazilian Government issued Resolution No. 540/2023 to clarify that the anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on (1) motor car tyres classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) code 4011.10.00; (2) bicycle tyres classified under NCM 4011.50.00; (3) bus or lorry tyres classified under NCM 4011.20.90; and (4) tyres of diagonal construction used for agricultural vehicles and machinery classified under NCM codes 4011.70.10, 4011.70.90, 4011.80.90, 4011.90.10 and 4011.90.90 originating in the Mainland of China apply to all products that fall within the description and are not restricted to the aforementioned tariff lines. 1 The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. Membership of Venezuela has been temporarily suspended since 2 December 2016.
