Canada : Consultation on Proposed Regulations Amending Certain Regulations Concerning Food Additives and Compositional Standards, Microbiological Criteria and Methods of Analysis for Food

Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) have launched a consultation on 4 November 2023 to seek feedback on the proposed Regulations Amending Certain Regulations Concerning Food Additives and Compositional Standards, Microbiological Criteria and Methods of Analysis for Food.

2.The objectives of this regulatory proposal are to help make the Canadian food regulatory system more agile, transparent and responsive to new and emerging science, technology, market innovation and risks to health. Interested parties may provide comment on the proposed regulations or any of the documents associated with this regulatory proposal until 2 February 2024.
