Commercial Information Circular No. 636/2023

Canada : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Certain Copper Pipe Fittings from the Mainland of China: Conclusion of Re-investigation

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 146/2023 of 16 February 2023 regarding the initiation of a re-investigation against certain copper pipe fittings originating in or exported from the Mainland of China, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) concluded on 8 September 2023 the re-investigation of the normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy of the subject goods. 2.Pursuant to the re-investigation results, the CBSA imposes an anti-dumping duty of 242% and a countervailing duty of RMB 17.73 per kilogram on imports of the subject goods originating in / exported from the Mainland of China effective on 8 September 2023.
