US : Antidumping Action against Paper File Folders from the Mainland of China: Institution of Investigation and Scheduling of Preliminary Phase Investigation

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 19 October 2022 the institution of investigation and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping duty investigation pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the US is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the US is materially retarded, by reason of imports of paper file folders from, among others, the Mainland of China that are alleged to be sold in the US at less than fair value. 2.Interested parties wishing to participate in the investigation should file an entry of appearance with ITC not later than seven days after publication of the FR notice. Written submissions should reach ITC on or before 7 November 2022. Besides, ITC has scheduled a conference in connection with the investigation on 2 November 2022. Requests to appear at the conference should be emailed to preliminaryconferences@usitc.gov on or before 31 October 2022.
