Commercial Information Circular No. 825/2022

Canada : Antidumping Action against Certain Oil Country Tubular Goods and Certain Seamless Casing from the Mainland of China: Re-investigation

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) published a notice on 14 October 2022 announcing the initiation of a re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices, in accordance with the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), respecting certain oil country tubular goods (OCTG I) and certain seamless casing originating in or exported from the Mainland of China.

2.The re-investigation is part of the CBSA's enforcement of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal's orders issued in 2018 and 2020. Exporters that wish to participate in this re-investigation are required to provide a complete and accurate response to the CBSA's Request for Information (RFI) by no later than 21 November 2022. The information collected during the re-investigation will be used to determine updated normal values and export prices for future shipments in accordance with SIMA.
