Commercial Information Circular No. 749/2022

Brazil : Final Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Certain Polyester Textured Yarn Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 155/2021 of 16 March 2021 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation against polyester textured yarn (except sewing thread), including synthetic monofilament of less than 67 decitex, not put up for retail sale, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 5402.33.10, 5402.33.20 and 5402.33.90 originating in the Mainland of China, the Brazilian Government issued Resolution 385/2022 to announce its affirmative final determination of the AD investigation. Imports of subject merchandise are subject to an AD duty ranging from 57.85% to 585.70% for a period of five years. However, the AD duty will be suspended for one year for public interest.
