Uruguay : Imposition of An Anti-dumping Duty Order on Certain Electric Water Heaters

The Uruguayan Government issued Resolution 113/022 to announce the imposition of an anti-dumping (AD) duty order on electric water heaters for household use, with a steel accumulation tank and a capacity between 15 and 120 litres, classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) code 8516.10.00.10 originating in the Mainland of China. Imports of subject merchandise will be subject to an AD duty of 35% for a period of three years, with the exception of imports from a specific company which will face a 12% AD duty.
