Commercial Information Circular No. 447/2022

Brazil : Importation of Radiopharmaceuticals

The National Health Agency ("Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária" in Portuguese/ANVISA) of Brazil has extended the current rules (established through Resolution RDC 567/2021) that authorise the exceptional and temporary importation of radiopharmaceuticals into Brazil without registration until 31 July 2022.

2.For details of the Brazilian measures and the products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Brazil and/or refer to the Press Release by ANVISA of Brazil (in Portuguese) which is available at: https://www.gov.br/anvisa/pt-br/assuntos/noticias-anvisa/2022/anvisa-prorroga-norma-que-autoriza-importacao-excepcional-de-produtos-para-medicina-nuclear.
