Brazil : Conformity Assessments and Technical Requirements for Various Products

The National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) of Brazil approved conformity assessments and/or technical requirements of various products including:

  1. voltage stabilisers
  2. luminaires for public street lighting
  3. LED lamps with a control device integrated into the base
  4. automotive components for motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, tricycles and quadricycles
  5. plugs and outlets
  6. fixed tanks
  7. low pressure regulators for liquefied petroleum gas with a flow capacity of up to 4kg/h
  8. fire extinguishers
  9. pressure indicators for fire extinguishers
  10. low import and production volume automotive components
  11. vehicular natural gas system components
  12. electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres
  13. taximeters
  14. circuit breakers for domestic and analogue fixed electrical installations
  15. wires, cables and flexible electrical cords
  16. equipment for the generation, conditioning and storage of electric energy in photovoltaic systems
  17. automotive components
  18. electrical and similar appliances
  19. mass measurement systems for liquid quantities
  20. liquid fuel metering pumps
