Commercial Information Circular No. 42/2022

US : Antidumping and Countervailing Actions against Pentafluoroethane (R-125) from the Mainland of China: Final Determinations

Further to Commercial Information Circulars No. 609/2021 of 23 August 2021 and 456/2021 of 5 July 2021 respectively regarding the preliminary determinations of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations by the US Department of Commerce (DoC) against pentafluoroethane (R-125) from the Mainland of China, the DoC announced in the Federal Register (FR) notices of 10 January 2022 the final determinations that imports of the Chinese product were being, or were likely to be sold in the US at less than fair value; and that countervailable subsidies were being provided to producers and exporters of the product. The final estimated weighted-average dumping margins are found to be 277.95% - 278.05%, and the estimated subsidy rates are 12.75% - 306.57%.
