Commercial Information Circular No. 227/2022

Brazil : Conformity Assessments and Technical Requirements for Various Products

The National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) of Brazil approved conformity assessments and/or technical requirements of various products including:

  1. cork-type fuses and carboard cartridge-type fuses
  2. pre-packaged soap and bar soap products
  3. hydraulic brake fluids for motor vehicles
  4. single use sterile hypodermic syringes
  5. containers intended for ethyl alcohol packaging
  6. single use transfusion, gravitational infusion and infusion equipment for use with infusion pumps
  7. transportable steel containers intended for the packaging of liquefied petroleum gas
  8. ceiling fans
  9. tanks (reservoirs) of flat tank vessels
  10. liquid content for the quantitative indication of cosmetic and personal care products marketed in nominal quantities from 5g or ml to 20g or ml
  11. methodology for the quantitative verification of pre-packaged wheat flour
