Commercial Information Circular No. 149/2022

US : Antidumping Action against Mobile Access Equipment from the Mainland of China : Final Determination

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 688/2021 of 4 October 2021 regarding the preliminary determination of antidumping (AD) investigation by the US Department of Commerce (DoC) against certain mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from the Mainland of China, the DoC announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 22 February 2022 the final determination that imports of the Chinese product were being, or were likely to be, sold in the US at less than fair value. The final estimated weighted-average dumping margin is found to be 31.70% - 165.30%. The FR notice is available at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2022-02-22/pdf/2022-03660.pdf.

2.The US International Trade Commission (ITC) will make its final injury determination no later than 45 days after DoC's final determination. If the ITC makes affirmative final injury determination, the DoC will issue AD order. The US Customs and Border Protection will continue to suspend liquidation of the subject imports and require a cash deposit of the estimated duties for subsequent entries in accordance with the rates as set out in the final determination.
