Argentina : Updated Restrictions on Mercury-added Products

The Argentine government has updated restrictions on elemental mercury and mercury-added products to prohibit the use of elemental mercury in various production processes as well as the importation, exportation and production of several mercury-added products.

2.For details of the above updates and the products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Argentina and/or the Argentine Resolution No. 299/2021 (in Spanish) which is available at https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/detalleAviso/primera/249530/20210915.
