Commercial Information Circular No. 881/2021

Brazil : Conformity Assessments and Technical Requirements for Various Products

The National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) of Brazil approved conformity assessments and/or technical requirements of various products including:

  1. Pre-packaged goods;
  2. Non-invasive sphygmomanometers;
  3. Breath metres intended to measure the alcohol concentration in expired air;
  4. Televisions;
  5. Distribution transformers in insulating liquid;
  6. Single use sterile hypodermic needles and single use sterile gingival needles;
  7. Individual blister-type food packaging; and
  8. School articles.
