Commercial Information Circular No. 727/2021

US : Countervailing Action against Mobile Access Equipment from the Mainland of China: Final Determination

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 560/2021 of 3 August 2021 regarding the preliminary determination of countervailing duty (CVD) investigation by the US Department of Commerce (DoC) against certain mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from the Mainland of China, the DoC announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 19 October 2021 the final determination that countervailable subsidies were being provided to producers and exporters of the Chinese products. The final estimated subsidy rates are 11.95% - 448.70%. The FR notice is available at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2021-10-19/pdf/2021-22705.pdf.

2.DoC subsequently announced in the FR notice of 10 December 2021 the issue of CVD order. The final subsidy rates are amended to 11.97% - 448.80%. The FR notice is available at https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2021-12-10/pdf/2021-26890.pdf.
