Argentina : Amendments to Criterion Values for Toy Products
The Argentine Government issued Resolution 5050/2021 to modify the criterion values for toy products from various sources, including Hong Kong and the Mainland of China. Relevant products are classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 9503.00.80 (new criterion value of US$6.50 per kilogramme), 9503.00.99 (new criterion value of US$7.37/kg) and 9504.90.90 (new criterion value of US$6.70/kg).
2.Imports with a declared value lower than the criterion value require payment of a guarantee equivalent to the difference in duties to be paid on the declared value and that on the criterion value.
