Brazil : Renewal of An Anti-dumping Duty Order on Certain Plastic Tubes for Blood Collection Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 461/2015 of 8 June 2015 regarding Brazil's final determination to the anti-dumping (AD) investigation against certain plastic tubes for blood collection classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 3822.00.90, 3926.90.40 and 9018.39.99 originating in the Mainland of China, the Brazilian Government issued Resolution No. 193/2021 to announce its determination to renew the anti-dumping (AD) order on imports of subject products originating in the Mainland of China. Imports of subject merchandise would be subject to an AD duty of 49.5% to 80.7% for certain Mainland companies, while imports from other Mainland suppliers will be subject to an AD duty of 110.5% for a period of five years. However, these AD duties will remain suspended through 30 June 2021 due to the COVID-19 state of emergency. 1 The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. Membership of Venezuela has been temporarily suspended since 2 December 2016.
