Commercial Information Circular No. 415/2021

Argentina : Import Licensing Requirements for Certain Products

The Argentine government published Resolution No. 102/2021 to announce certain changes to its automatic and non-automatic licensing requirements for certain products.

2.Among others, the information that must be submitted to obtain a non-automatic licence for footwear, certain textiles and apparel, as well as certain other products has been amended. For example, the requirements for footwear include certain importer and exporter information, product description, product composition, sworn declaration of product composition (DJCP) number, technical standards or certification requirements, certifying body and certificate number.

3.For details of the modifications and the products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Argentina and/or the relevant Argentine Resolution which is available at: https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/detalleAviso/primera/242535/20210331.
