Commercial Information Circular No. 364/2021

Argentina : Labelling Requirements for Footwear Products

The Argentine Government published Resolution No. 316/2021 to announce various modifications of mandatory labelling requirements for footwear products.

2.Among others, the modifications include non-compliant footwear products may not be definitively imported or commercialised in Argentina unless the importer commits to correct the non-compliance and the Directorate of Technical Regulations issues an authorisation to adapt the footwear labels to domestic market requirements.

3.For details of the modifications and the products involved, traders are advised to consult their importers in Argentina and/or the relevant Argentine Resolution which is available at: https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/detalleAviso/primera/239237/20201229.
