Commercial Information Circular No. 363/2021

Colombia : Re-application of Higher Import Duties on Apparel Products

The Colombian Government issued Decree No. 414/2021 to announce the re-application of higher most-favoured-nation (MFN) duties on apparel products for a period of two years. Apparel products of HS Chapters 61 and 62 with a free on board (FOB) value equal to or lower than US$10 per gross kilogramme will be subject to an ad valorem duty of 40%. The apparel products with a FOB price higher than US$10 per kilogramme will face a compound duty rate of 15% ad valorem plus US$1.50 per kilogramme.
