Commercial Information Circular No. 166/2021

US : Countervailing Action against Certain Chassis and Subassemblies Thereof from the Mainland of China: Final Determination

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 2/2021 of 4 January 2021 regarding the preliminary determination of countervailing duty (CVD) investigation by the US Department of Commerce (DoC) against certain chassis and subassemblies thereof from the Mainland of China, the DoC announced in the Federal Register (FR) notice of 22 March 2021 the final determination that countervailable subsidies were being provided to producers and exporters of the Chinese products. 2.DoC subsequently announced in the FR notice of 10 May 2021 the issue of CVD order. The final subsidy rate is amended to 44.32%. The FR notice is available at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2021-05-10/pdf/2021-09848.pdf.
