Brazil : Preliminary Determination of Anti-dumping Investigation against Hosiery and Socks Originating in the Mainland of China

Pursuant to Commercial Information Circular No. 659/2020 of 31 August 2020 regarding the initiation of anti-dumping (AD) investigation against hosiery and socks classified under Southern Common Market (Mercosur1) Common Classification (NCM) codes 6115 and 6111 originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China, the Ministry of Economy of Brazil published Circular No. 19/2021 on 11 March 2021 announcing an affirmative preliminary determination of AD investigation without imposing provisional measures.

2.The Ministry of Economy of Brazil has come to a preliminary determination that there is evidence of dumping in Brazil of imports of hosiery and socks originating in the Mainland of China, and of injury to the domestic industry in Brazil by the allegedly dumped imports.
